We can meet at my RE/MAX office (5603 27th Street in Vernon, across from Village Green Mall), discuss your needs, sign some forms, and then start touring and familiarizing you with the region, from ski hills to wineries. This is all part of my service!
If you want to use my services as a buyer’s agent, it is totally free. I will explain how this works at our first meeting and ask you to sign a ‘Disclosure of Trading Services’ form that clearly explains the benefits of being represented by a real estate agent. If you let me know that you are committed to using me as a real estate agent for your purchase, I will then work tirelessly. I will show you homes that suit your criteria, until you find what you are looking for. If it exists, we will find it!
Once we find what you are looking for, then the buying process starts. I will use my knowledge and experience as a real estate agent to help you evaluate all aspects of the particular property you like. Together we will look at the property title and any encumbrances on it, the lot plan and dimensions, the neighbourhood and amenities, sales history, comparative properties, the “property disclosure statement” from the seller, strata documents, etc. We will write a competitive offer with the “Subject to Clauses” to protect your interests while you do your due diligence. I can recommend home inspectors, legal representatives, and other professionals who will help insure you make an informed purchase that you will not regret.
